Please note that some of our facilities in China require us to arrange a Letter of Guarantee for any treatment 24-hours in advance. 

In the event you decide to pay and claim for treatment, we will apply any plan excess, co-insurance or deductible that applies.

In case you are visiting a direct billing provider for your in-patient treatment in UAE (except Abu Dhabi), the provider will contact us with all documents and we will provide the necessary approvals to the provider directly.

The providers and physicians listed here are for information only; it serves the sole purpose of providing Now Health members with names of facilities and physicians practices where they can enjoy direct billing service. This information is not a substitute for medical diagnosis. Now Heath does not guarantee the quality of care provided.

  • What is Direct Billing?

    Direct Billing makes it easier to get the treatment you need. When using the service, the medical provider will send Now Health International an invoice for your treatment, and we'll pay them directly. No need to pay then claim. 

    Direct Billing is valid for consultations, medical investigations and hospitalisation. You can access our Direct Billing provider network whenever you need to without paying anything out of your own pocket.

  • Do I have access to Direct Billing?

    In-Patient Direct Billing is available for all Now Health International health insurance plans.

    Out-Patient Direct Billing is available for select plans:

    1. WorldCare Advance 
    2. WorldCare Excel
    3. WorldCare Apex
    4. SimpleCare UAE

    Out-Patient Direct Billing is not available for the following plans:

    1. SimpleCare CORE
    2. SimpleCare 100
    3. SimpleCare 250
    4. WorldCare Essential

  • What medical services are covered by Direct Billing?

    Our Direct Billing medical provider network covers most medical services under your Now Health International plan.

    Please note, the following medical services are not covered on Direct Billing:

    1. Out-Patient Maternity (if Out-Patient maternity is not available in your plan)
    2. Dental
    3. Optical
    4. Vaccinations
    5. Wellness check up
    6. Alternative medicine therapy
    7. Out-Patient psychiatry

    Out-Patient Direct Billing is not available in the USA.

  • What is In-Patient and Out-Patient treatment?

    Out-Patient Treatment, which may sometimes be called Day-Patient Treatment, refers to medical care that does not require an overnight hospital stay.

    In-Patient Treatment, sometimes called hospitalisation, refers to medical care that requires an overnight or extended stay in a hospital or another medical facility.

  • How can I access the Direct Billing network in the USA?

    Follow these steps to find a medical provider after clicking our “USA NETWORK LIST” button:

    • Click the “Medical Directory” button.
    • Click the “Employer and Individual Plans” button.
    • Scroll down the page and click “Options PPO.” Please note that the page is arranged alphabetically.

    When you reach the next page, you’ll be able to search for medical professionals, medical facilities, specific services or treatment providers and facilities to undergo care for specific conditions based on your location.

    You can use the “Find Care by Category” section to find a provider, or if you know the name of the provider you’re looking for, you can use the search function to look them up yourself.

    We would request you to contact us 7 days before your desired In-Patient treatment date so we can effectively organise your direct billing treatment.   • What do I do if I cannot find a medical provider in my country/region?
