If you have paid for medical treatment, you will need to submit a claim for reimbursement. You can do this in one of two ways:
1. Secure Online Portfolio:
The easiest way to submit a claim is via your Secure Online Portfolio. Take the following steps to submit your claims quickly and easily:
Click "My Claims".
Click "Make an out-patient claim" if you're claiming for a consultation, or "In-patient and day-patient" if your claim relates to a hospital admission.
Complete the necessary details and submit your claim.
Each page of the claim process includes a guide to help you, and will also show you how to keep track of any claims you submit.
2. Mobile App
You can use the Now Health International app to submit your claims. Take the following steps to submit your claims quickly and easily:
Open the "Submit A Claim" tab.
Select "Make an out-patient claim" if you're claiming for a consultation, or "In-patient and day-patient" if your claim relates to a hospital admission.
Complete the necessary details and attach supporting documents and submit your claim.
To submit the claim complete the form and don’t forget to attach any receipts or diagnostic reports. You will receive a notification to acknowledge receipt of your claim and you can track it using your secure online portfolio. When you need in-patient treatment
If you need to be admitted to hospital for in-patient or day-patient treatment, you must contact us first to request treatment pre-authorisation.
We will then place a guarantee of payment with the medical provider so you don’t need to pay anything up front.

When you need out-patient treatment
If you have our SimpleCare 100 or SimpleCare 250 plan which includes out-patient treatment, you can choose to go to any medical practitioner of your choice or one from our network.
If you select a plan that includes out-patient treatment, you can go to any medical practitioner, pay for your treatment and claim back your expenses. OR If your plan includes out-patient treatment and you have chosen a nil excess or have our out-patient direct billing option, you can access treatment within our provider network without paying anything.
When you need in-patient or day-patient treatment
For in-patient and day-patient care, get in touch with your nearest customer service team and they will aim to put a guarantee of payment in place with your preferred medical provider, to minimize your out-of-pocket expenses.

Accessing elective treatment in the USA
If you have selected our USA Elective Treatment option and need to access non-emergency health care in the USA, you can find a medical provider by clicking here. You must contact us prior to any appointments so we can confirm that the facility is an 'In-Network' medical provider. We will also try to settle the bill directly with the provider. We must have approved any costs you incur in advance or we may not be able to cover the cost of your treatment.
